Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file, written in English, is in Microsoft Word format.
  • Where available, URLs and DOIs for the references have been provided.
  • The text adheres to the APA (7th) and reference manager has been used for citation and bibliography.
  • The manuscript applies IMRAD structure (Introduction, Method, Result and Discussion).
  • All cited references in the body of the manuscript have been listed properly in the reference section.

Manuscript Preparation Guidelines

Thank you for considering Langua as the platform for your scholarly contributions. Please follow the guidelines below to ensure a smooth submission and publication process.

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx).
  • Reference File Format: Biblatex (.bib) for accepted manuscripts.
  • Page Setup: Letter size (8.5 × 11 inches) with 1-inch margins.
  • Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt.

  • Organize the manuscript using the IMRAD format (Introduction, Methods, Results, and Discussion).
  • Include a title page containing the manuscript title, author(s), affiliations, corresponding author's contact information, and acknowledgements.
  • Number all pages consecutively, beginning with the title page.

  • All cited references must be listed in the reference section. The references in the reference section must be cited in the manuscript.
  • Follow APA 7th Edition for citations and references.
  • Recommended Use Zotero or another reference manager to ensure consistent formatting.
  • Cite sources using the author-date format (e.g., Smith, 2023).
  • List all references alphabetically at the end of the manuscript.

  • Insert figures and tables where they are first cited.
  • Provide clear and concise captions.
  • Ensure all figures are of high quality and easily readable.

  • Include an informative abstract of no more than 250 words.
  • Provide up to five keywords.

  • Ensure your research complies with ethical standards and required permissions.
  • For studies involving human participants, provide ethics approval documentation or follow appropriate anonymity procedures.

  • Submit your manuscript through the online submission system.
  • Include a separate cover letter describing the significance, originality, and relevance of your work.

  • All submissions undergo a rigorous peer-review process.
  • Reviewer comments will be shared to assist authors in revising their manuscripts.
